Finance Manager (Vietnam eCommerce)
Position overview:
This individual will be reporting to Finance Director (APAC) supporting the company through general accounting and finance responsibilities as well as full participation in the month-end close processes. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, financial reporting accountability and other special projects as assigned.
Job Description:
Responsible for the accounting operations of the Vietnam entity & leading a team of 2 – 3 finance staff
Manage and oversee all day-to-day accounting operations from Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, fixed assets register, cash flow management, monthly bank reconciliations, month end closing and etc.
Ensure timely submission of monthly management reports, including variance analysis, commentary, and notes to the accounts.
To lead the monitoring and recognition of Inventory and COGS every month end closing
Ensure that all permits/ compliances are updated (eg: Importation Permits)
Ensure that all passed on eCommerce expenses are being billed back to clients monthly
Support Commercial/ Account Managers for client requested reconciliation, documentations and clarifications
Monthly Net revenue analysis at client level and Entity level
Check and verify payment and bank reconciliations on timely manner.
Hands-on in cash flow preparation and monitor the working capital management, DSO target and treasury functions.
Review payment preparation & ensure all internal SOP has been followed strictly
Responsible for interim and year-end audit - preparing audit schedules, answering queries, and implementing audit control findings within stipulated timelines.
Timely preparation and filing of audited financial statements.
Support internal audits initiated by parent company, and ensuring all key findings are implemented.
Responsible for all aspects of local tax compliance and reporting requirements – including timely and accurate filing of local taxes and corporate income tax returns, tax and Statutory payments, deferred tax calculations, and ensure transfer pricing documentation are fulfilled under relevant transfer pricings laws and regulations to manage risks.
Support ERP system upgrade and/or implementation projects.
Liaise with auditors, tax agents, corporate secretary and engage with departments and subsidiaries.
Perform any ad-hoc duties assigned from time to time as directed by superiors and group/regional teams.

Job Requirements:
Degree in Accounting, ACCA, CPA, or other relevant Professional qualification. Qualified / Certified Accountant is a preferred
Well-versed in IFRS and Local GAAP
At least 5 years of hands on in handling full sets of accounts experience & sound knowledge in local taxes
Experience from eCommerce sector would be an advantage
Having experience in dealing with oversea entities is advantageous
Knowledge in using Microsoft D365 would have an advantage.
Must be proficient in Microsoft office application and possess computerized accounting software knowledge
Good oral and written communication skills in English
Candidate has excellent communications and leadership qualities. Able to work and communicate with all levels of management and having a global perspective.
