The selected candidate will support the dnata UAE Airport Operations FP&A function by acting as a senior commercial finance partner to operational and business leaders within a fast‑paced, operationally intensive, and highly stakeholder‑driven environment. The role requires agility, sound judgement, and the ability to operate effectively amid complexity and ambiguity, balancing short‑term operational demands with longer‑term strategic objectives.

Through strong commercial credibility and the confidence to provide constructive challenge, the selected Finance Manager will partner closely with operational leadership to influence decision‑making, drive financial discipline, and maximise the value of the organisation. This includes developing a deep understanding of operational drivers such as manpower productivity, capacity utilisation, operational efficiency, and commercial performance, and translating these into clear financial insights that support effective planning and execution of strategy.

In This Role, You Will

  • Act as a trusted advisor to the dnata Airport Operations business, providing both support and challenge to enable informed decisions and improved outcomes.
  • Lead the delivery of annual budgets, rolling forecasts, and mid‑ to long‑term plans, actively holding the business to account for performance against agreed targets.
  • Provide financial insight and commercial judgement in the development and validation of business cases supporting new ventures, capital investments, and long‑term commercial agreements, particularly within high‑complexity and growth‑driven initiatives.
  • Ensure business performance is actively monitored through robust management reporting, KPIs, and performance forums, identifying key trends, risks, and opportunities and driving agreed actions to improve future performance.
  • Enable enhanced focus on translating complex financial and operational data into clear, compelling management narratives and actionable insights for senior leadership, enabling confident and timely decision‑making. While data and analytics tools, including Power BI, will support this role, the emphasis is on insight generation and decision support rather than reporting production.
  • Ensure a strong financial control environment is maintained to protect shareholder interests and that Corporate Governance Manuals are consistently applied across the portfolio.
  • Lead and develop finance capability across the defined business portfolio, regardless of reporting line, building a high‑performing FP&A team able to support ongoing transformation, expansion, and increasing operational complexity.

Qualification

In order to be considered for this position, you must meet the below requirements:

  • Have a minimum of 8 years of experience within Finance.
  • Be a degree holder and hold a relevant professional qualification i.e., MBA or Qualified Accountant.
  • Hold relevant experience in Finance, Commercial or Analytical roles including a minimum of 3+ years experience in an FP&A function with a proven history of delivering real value add FP&A support to a business in a dynamic and challenging business environment.
