Our client is a renowned brand in the construction chemicals industry and a leading supplier of concrete admixtures, underground construction solutions, and specialty chemical products. The organization is known for its strong market presence, high quality standards, and operational excellence.

Their global headquarters are in Germany.

They are currently hiring a dynamic and hands-on Finance Manager for their office in the UAE, who will be working in coordination with the global headquarters, local accounting services and cluster heads, to set up the finance department.

The role will be initially an individual contributor role, with the department growing by the next year. This role has a high growth potential to grow as the organisation sets up and grows in UAE.

The office in UAE is located in Dubai Industrial City.

Manufacturing & SAP experience is a must for the role.

Experience in construction chemicals manufacturing or parallel industries will be highly advantageous

Key Responsibilities:

• Financial Oversight & Compliance: Ensure all financial operations, including billing, accounting, and reporting, adhere to Indian laws and regulations, working closely with outsourced finance and compliance teams.
• Liaison & Coordination: Act as the primary point of contact between Master Builders Solutions and external financial service providers, ensuring timely and accurate financial management and reporting.
• Budgeting & Financial Planning: Oversee the preparation and adherence to budgets and financial forecasts, ensuring alignment with the companys strategic objectives.
• Regulatory & Tax Compliance: Coordinate with external partners to manage and comply with local, state, and federal government reporting requirements and tax filings in UAE.
• Internal Controls & Risk Management: Develop and maintain robust internal controls and risk management strategies to safeguard the companys assets and financial health.
• Audit & Assurance: Facilitate internal and external audit processes, ensuring compliance with all audit requirements and enhancing financial accuracy and reliability.
• Financial Analysis & Reporting: Conduct thorough financial analysis to inform strategic decision-making and prepare and present timely financial statements to the management team and global headquarters.
• Stakeholder Communication: Serve as the key financial representative of Master Builders Solutions in UAE, effectively communicating financial statuses and strategies to internal and external stakeholders.
• Process Optimization: Collaborate with outsourced partners to streamline accounting functions and operations, enhancing efficiency and scalability.
• Team Leadership: Although primarily coordinating with external teams, foster a culture of excellence, ethics, and continuous improvement within any in-house finance personnel or teams that may be established.

Desired Candidate Profile:

• Education: CA or similar qualification preferred. MBA in Accounting or Finance is also good, with a minimum of 5-7 years of experience in finance, particularly in roles requiring coordination with external partners.
• Experience with UAE Financial Operations: Familiarity with the financial practices, taxation and compliance requirements.
• Strong Communication Skills: Exceptional interpersonal and communication abilities to manage relationships with various stakeholders effectively.
• Analytical and Strategic Thinking: Proficient in financial analysis, strategic planning, and possessing a keen eye for detail.
• Leadership: Capability to work independently, lead through influence, and manage cross-cultural teams effectively.
• Technical Proficiency: Advanced knowledge of SAP is mandatory.
• Language Proficiency: Fluency in English to facilitate seamless communication with the teams. Proficiency in Arabic will be a plus.
