Job Description

The Finance Manager plays a vital role in overseeing the financial activities and ensuring the financial health of an organization. This position demands a strategic thinker with strong analytical and decision-making skills, capable of interpreting complex financial information and understanding its impact on business operations. The Finance Manager will be responsible for managing financial risks, planning budgets, forecasting financial trends, and advising senior management on financial decisions to optimize company profitability and growth. This role requires a high level of integrity, as the Finance Manager will have access to sensitive financial information and will be key in maintaining financial accountability and compliance. Responsibilities

  • Develop and oversee financial planning and budgeting processes to support strategic goals.
  • Provide accurate and comprehensive financial information to senior management and stakeholders.
  • Analyze financial reports and offer insights on areas for cost reduction and improvement.
  • Manage and monitor financial performance against planned budgets and forecasts.
  • Ensure compliance with financial regulations and standards, both locally and internationally.
  • Supervise financial team members, providing guidance and evaluating their performance.
  • Coordinate with external auditors and prepare financial reports to ensure audit readiness.
  • Assess financial risks and develop strategies to mitigate those risks effectively.
  • Implement financial systems and processes to streamline operations and increase efficiency.
  • Collaborate with other departments to provide financial insights for various projects.
  • Prepare financial statements, forecasts, and annual reports for stakeholder review.
  • Identify opportunities for investment and develop financial models to evaluate them.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field, with CPA preferred.
  • Minimum of five years of experience in financial management or a similar role.
  • Proven expertise in handling financial forecasting, budgeting, and analysis.
  • Strong knowledge of financial regulations, accounting principles, and best practices.
  • Exceptional analytical skills and experience with financial reporting software.
  • Demonstrated leadership abilities with experience managing a finance team effectively.
  • Excellent communication skills to present financial information clearly and concisely.
