Job Description

The Finance Assistant Manager plays a critical role in supporting the financial operations of an organization. This dynamic position is responsible for assisting in the management of financial policies, analyzing financial data, coordinating audits, and ensuring compliance with financial regulations. As a bridge between the finance team and senior management, the Finance Assistant Manager helps in strategic planning and decision-making processes by providing insightful financial analyses and reports. Responsibilities

  • Assist in developing and implementing financial policies and procedures effectively.
  • Analyze financial statements and provide insights to senior management regularly.
  • Coordinate with internal and external auditors to ensure compliance with regulations.
  • Prepare detailed financial reports and forecasts for strategic decision-making processes.
  • Monitor the company's financial performance and suggest improvements continually.
  • Ensure accurate processing and recording of the company’s financial transactions.
  • Support budgeting and funding activities with accurate and timely financial data.
  • Review and approve financial operations to ensure regulatory compliance.
  • Manage the preparation and distribution of monthly financial reports efficiently.
  • Assist in maintaining financial records and managing the finance department’s documentation.
  • Collaborate with various departments to streamline financial processes and systems.
  • Participate in cost analysis and control functionalities for better financial outcomes.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or a related field required.
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in finance or accounting roles.
  • Strong analytical skills with a deep understanding of financial principles.
  • Proven ability to work with financial software and advanced knowledge of Excel.
  • Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to multitask.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration.
  • Experience with financial forecasting, auditing, and compliance is preferred.
