A Finance Assistant plays a crucial role in the financial department of an organization.   • Conduct regular audits of financial transactions, identifying any discrepancies.
  • Provide administrative support during month-end and year-end financial closing processes.
  • Ensure compliance with financial policies and regulations, avoiding legal repercussions.
  • Engage in financial research and special projects assigned by senior management.
  • Assist in developing and implementing financial policies and procedures within the department.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field is preferred.
  • Minimum of two years experience in a similar finance or accounting role.
  • Proficiency in financial software and Microsoft Excel for data analysis tasks.
  • Strong organizational skills with acute attention to financial detail and accuracy.
  • Excellent communication skills, capable of liaising with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Ability to multitask and manage competing priorities effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Familiarity with AP/AR procedures and general accounting principles is essential.
