Job Description

As a Finance Assistant at our dynamic organization, you'll play a crucial role in handling and supporting the financial operations pivotal to business management and growth. Responsibilities

  • Support month-end and year-end financial closings and reconciliation tasks.
  • Coordinate with finance team members to facilitate budgeting and forecasting activities.
  • Prepare and review financial statements and reports for various stakeholders.
  • Verify and process expense reports, ensuring adherence to company policies.
  • Respond to financial inquiries by gathering and analyzing relevant data.
  • Assist with audits by providing necessary documents and answering auditor questions.
  • Participate in developing and implementing financial policies and procedures.
  • Monitor cash flow and ensure sufficient liquidity for meeting financial obligations.
  • Reconcile bank statements and manage discrepancies in financial records promptly.
  • Contribute to process improvements within the finance department to enhance efficiency.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, or related field is preferred.
  • Prior experience in a similar finance or accounting role is advantageous.
  • Strong proficiency in using Microsoft Excel and other financial software tools.
  • Excellent attention to detail with strong organizational and analytical skills.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills for collaboration and queries.
  • Ability to work independently, manage multiple tasks, and meet deadlines.
  • Knowledge of financial regulations and accounting principles is essential.
