To support business continuity and strategic evolution within Siemens Energy's Performance Acceleration Group in the Middle East, this permanent Project Controller role is established to drive regional project controlling and critical PMO activities. To address these business aims, this role focuses on regional commercial project controlling, PMO support for the Global Horizon project, and the development of digitalization and AI-based solutions within the Finance and CPM function. Given the focus on advanced analytics and regional controlling, the ideal candidate will have a strong background in financial controlling, hands-on experience in implementing AI or digital tools in finance, and proven project management office capabilities.
How You’ll Make An Impact
- Design, build, and implement AI-based solutions and automated tools to digitalize financial and CPM processes.
- Analyze financial data structures to identify opportunities for process optimization, data visualization, and predictive analytics.
- Perform comprehensive financial controlling, budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis for regional projects in the Middle East.
- Monitor project cash flows, revenue recognition, and asset management to ensure alignment with financial targets and compliance standards.
- Provide commercial guidance and risk assessment to project managers and regional leadership to optimize financial performance.
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field with a strong analytical focus. Minimum of 5-8 years of experience in project controlling, financial planning, or PMO roles, preferably within the energy or engineering sector.
- Proven experience in driving digitalization initiatives or implementing AI/automation solutions in a corporate finance environment.
- Certified Project Partner (CPP) or equivalent Commercial Project Management certification and certification in the field of AI, Data science or equivalent
- Expertise in Project Controlling and Forecasting, Financial Risk Management, and Budgeting & Cost Accounting.
- Skilled in AI & Machine Learning Applications in Finance, Data Automation & Visualization using Power BI and Tableau, and Financial Process Digitalization.
- Experienced in Project Management & Collaboration, Stakeholder Management, and Cross-Functional Collaboration.
