Finance Analyst – MEA 30M26

The Finance Analyst for MEA (Middle East and Africa) is a pivotal role in enabling financial insight and support for the regional finance team. In this position, the Finance Analyst will be responsible for analysis, budgeting, and forecasting that guide strategic decisions. They will work closely with cross-functional teams to provide timely and accurate financial reports. The ideal candidate will possess a strong analytical mindset, with a keen ability to solve complex problems and drive financial performance improvements. Strong communication skills are necessary as the role requires presenting findings to senior management and stakeholders to drive informed financial strategies across the MEA region.

Responsibilities

• Analyze financial data and create financial models for decision support.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements for review.
• Develop and monitor data quality metrics to ensure business data integrity.
• Report on financial performance and prepare regular management reports.
• Identify financial status by comparing and analyzing actual results with plans and forecasts.
• Provide creative alternatives and recommendations to improve financial performance.
• Conduct business studies on past, future, and comparative performance.
• Stay up-to-date with industry developments and trends impacting the MEA region.
• Partner with management teams to provide actionable insights on financial performance.
• Assist in the preparation of the annual budgeting process and strategic plans.
• Collaborate with the finance team to ensure adherence to financial best practices.
• Support month-end and year-end closure processes in alignment with the corporate schedule.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field is required.
• Proven experience in financial planning and analysis within the MEA region.
• Strong analytical and data gathering skills with attention to detail.
• Excellent communication skills to present complex financial data clearly.
• Proficiency in financial modeling techniques and tools is highly preferred.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively under tight deadlines.
• Advanced Excel skills required; experience with financial systems is advantageous.
