We are looking for a detail-oriented and analytical Finance Analyst with a strong interest in Power BI and data visualization. This role will support financial planning and analysis activities while playing a key part in developing and improving financial performance reporting for the Region. This is an excellent opportunity for an ambitious FP&A profile early in their career who wants to combine finance knowledge with data and analytics capabilities, and offers great career opportunities for candidates looking to develop into more senior FP&A roles over time.

The role is located at our Arla MENA HQ office in Dubai and reports to the Head of Finance, while having to interact closely with Finance colleagues both in the HQ as well as across markets and our two production sites in Bahrain and Saudi Arabia.

Key Responsibilities Of The Role

In close collaboration with the Head of Finance, you will play a key role in supporting the Performance Management agenda in the region, which involves being part of core finance processes like consolidation of the monthly results and the monthly financial forecasts, and assist with analysis and preparation of material for the MENA Leadership Team.

In addition to this, you will have a key role in developing, maintaining and enhancing our Financial reporting, with a special focus on expanding our portfolio of PowerBI Dashboards and Reports, in line with business requirements.

Finally, you will get “hands on” with controlling of Regional Office cost, forecast loads, etc., so overall, this is a very exciting and diverse role, taking on many different finance disciplines, and with a broad exposure towards the MENA Finance organization.

Your profile

You hold a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Economics, Finance or related field with 1-3 years of experience in a relevant role (internships included) within FP&A, Finance or data modelling. You possess advanced skills in Excel and a strong proficiency in data modeling and visualization (Power Query, DAX, PowerBI, dashboard design). Additionally, you have a strong understanding of financial statements and key financial metrics.

To be successful in the role, we are looking for someone who works independently, is proactive, and with a strong problem solving mindset. Structure and attention to detail is crucial, as well as strong communication skills. Finally, we are looking for someone with a passion for data visualization and continuous learning and development.
