Job Description

The Finance Administrator plays a crucial role in ensuring the financial health and operational efficiency of an organization. This position involves managing financial records, processing transactions, and ensuring compliance with financial regulations. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, highly organized, and possess strong analytical skills to develop and maintain accurate financial records. The Finance Administrator will collaborate with various departments to prepare budgets, monitor expenses, and generate financial reports. Furthermore, excellent communication skills are essential as the role often involves liaising with external auditors, vendors, and other financial entities. Responsibilities

  • Maintain and update financial databases and spreadsheets with accuracy and efficiency.
  • Process invoices, receipts, payments, and other financial transactions timely and correctly.
  • Reconcile financial discrepancies by collecting and analyzing account information.
  • Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
  • Communicate with vendors and resolve invoice discrepancies and payment issues.
  • Coordinate with internal departments to develop effective budgeting and financial strategies.
  • Ensure compliance with financial policies, procedures, and applicable laws and regulations.
  • Conduct regular audits to ensure timely accuracy of financial records and reports.
  • Monitor bank accounts and prepare bank reconciliations to maintain accurate financial data.
  • Participate in the development of financial forecasts and plans for future business initiatives.
  • Prepare and handle payroll processes while ensuring confidentiality and accuracy.
  • Liaise with external auditors to prepare and deliver necessary financial documentation.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or a related discipline required.
  • At least two years of experience in a financial administration role preferred.
  • Proficiency in financial management software and Microsoft Office Suite essential.
  • Strong analytical skills with a keen eye for detail and accuracy.
  • Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Solid understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting standards.
  • Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written, necessary for collaboration.
