The role of a Field Service Engineer for Stationary Crushing and Screening equipment encompasses a range of responsibilities aimed at ensuring optimal equipment performance and customer satisfaction.
Key duties include:
Service Activities, High understanding of the Crushing & Screening business.
Equipment Assembly and Commissioning: Assemble and commission delivered equipment to ensure proper functionality.
Repairs and Maintenance: Supervise and perform repairs on machinery or sub-assemblies at customer locations, ensuring timely and effective service.
Inspections and Client Prospecting: Conduct routine and warranty inspections to maintain equipment standards and identify potential new clients.
Customer Training: Provide training to customer personnel on the proper use and maintenance of Sandvik equipment to enhance operational efficiency.
Data Management: Maintain accurate records of equipment and service activities in the database for tracking and analysis.
Technical Support and Coordination: Collaborate with the sales department to offer technical support, ensuring seamless communication and customer satisfaction. Work closely with Sandvik customers to provide technical consultations; address and resolve customer complaints. Prepare spare parts requests in collaboration with Inside Sales, Sales Engineers and End Customer.
Contractual Support: Assist in finalizing contractual clauses related to equipment commissioning, ensuring all technical aspects are accurately represented.
Safety Compliance: Strictly adhere to safety standards, including working at heights when necessary, to maintain a safe working environment.
This role requires a proactive approach to understanding and anticipating customer needs, with a focus on maximizing satisfaction and contributing to innovative solutions for clients.
Job Requirements
MANDATORY LOCATION – Dubai, UAE
Languages minimum intermediate level of English (mandatory). Hindi and Arabic are valued / advantage.
Readiness to travel for customers sites 80% of working time, valid drivers license, category B
EDUCATION - Engineering/ Mechanical engineering high education or relevant experience minimum 5 years as field service engineer
Minimum 5 Year Of Experience In Construction/infrastructure/Mining Sector
Strong written/verbal communication skills.
Electrician certification is an advantage
Valid driver’s license may be required.
Computer Skills: Microsoft Office; other software relevant to the job activities (salesforce)
Consider 80% traveling time around Middle East region.
