Job Description

The Field Service Manager plays a pivotal role in ensuring the efficient delivery of service operations and the optimization of resources to meet the goals of the organization. This role is responsible for overseeing and managing the field service team, ensuring customer satisfaction through timely and effective service delivery, and maintaining the highest standards of service excellence. The Field Service Manager leads a team of skilled technicians, handling a wide range of tasks from scheduling repairs to technical support. The ideal candidate should be adept at multitasking, problem-solving, and have a thorough understanding of field service operations. This position requires excellent leadership skills, as well as the ability to communicate with a diverse set of customers and team members efficiently and effectively.


Responsibilities

  • Supervise and lead a team of field service technicians effectively.
  • Ensure consistency in service delivery by monitoring field operations.
  • Develop and implement policies for quality service execution and efficiency.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for all customer service operations.
  • Coordinate scheduling and dispatching of field service tasks for efficiency.
  • Conduct regular training sessions for field service team members.
  • Handle escalations and complex service requests in a timely manner.
  • Monitor and manage inventory levels necessary for field servicing work.
  • Track and evaluate key performance indicators to improve service quality.
  • Foster strong relationships with customers to ensure client satisfaction.
  • Compile and analyze service metrics for report generation and decision making.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations during field operations.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in business management or a related technical field.
  • Proven experience in field service management or a similar leadership role.
  • Exceptional leadership skills with the ability to manage diverse teams.
  • Strong organizational skills to efficiently handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Solid decision-making skills with a customer-focused and detail-oriented approach.
  • Technically proficient with an understanding of latest service tools and technology.
  • Excellent communication skills for both written and verbal communication.
