Job Description

The Field Sales Executive is a dynamic and motivated individual responsible for driving sales and meeting sales targets in designated geographical territories. This role requires a proactive professional who can engage potential customers, build lasting relationships, and effectively close sales to enhance company revenue. The Field Sales Executive will work independently and as part of a wider sales team, actively contributing to the overall performance of the organization. The successful candidate will be adept at identifying and pursuing new business opportunities, require minimal supervision, and possess excellent communication and negotiation skills. They must be adaptable and resilient, as they will often face varied customer situations and market challenges that require quick thinking and strategic action.


Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement strategic sales plans to achieve sales targets within assigned territory.
  • Identify and cultivate potential leads through cold-calling, networking, and referrals.
  • Conduct regular market research to identify new sales opportunities and analyze customer needs.
  • Engage with existing clients to foster relationships and drive repeat sales opportunities.
  • Prepare sales presentations and proposals tailored to customer needs and preferences.
  • Negotiate contracts and agreements with prospective clients to secure sales deals.
  • Collaborate with marketing and product teams to coordinate sales strategies and promotions.
  • Track sales activities, follow-ups, and performance metrics using CRM software.
  • Prepare and deliver regular sales reports and forecasts to management.
  • Attend industry events and workshops to expand professional knowledge and network.
  • Manage post-sale customer follow-up to ensure product satisfaction and encourage referrals.
  • Stay updated with industry trends and competitor activities to inform sales strategies.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field is preferred.
  • Proven track record in sales, with at least two years of field sales experience.
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills to build customer relations.
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
  • Experience using CRM software to manage customer relationships and sales activities.
  • Ability to travel frequently within assigned sales territory for client meetings.
  • Possess a valid driver’s license and have access to reliable transportation.
