Job Summary: As a Shop Operations Assistant, you will play a key role in maintaining our knife shop and supporting daily operations. This role is ideal for someone who is hands-on, willing to learn, and able to assist with a variety of tasks, including inventory handling, cleaning, product packing, and basic customer service. The ideal candidate will also support simple computer tasks and social media efforts, contributing to the overall growth of the business. No higher education is required, but good English communication skills and a positive attitude are essential.

Responsibilities:

Shop Operations & Inventory Support:

  • Clean, pack, and maintain knives to ensure they are rust-free and ready for sale.
  • Organize, label, and manage inventory accurately.
  • Assist in keeping the store clean, tidy, and welcoming to customers.
  • Provide detailed information about hunting knives, collectibles, antiques, and walking aids.

Sales & Customer Interaction:

  • Engage with walk-in customers and explain product features and benefits clearly.
  • Help boost sales through good communication and product knowledge.
  • Participate in simple promotional activities or local product showcases when required.

Digital Engagement & Computer Tasks:

  • Assist in creating basic advertisements and social media posts.
  • Support basic computer work, including typing, product listing, or updates.
  • Help with WhatsApp or email communication when needed.

Team Growth & Flexibility:

  • Be open to traveling across regions occasionally for business needs, as the need may arise.
  • Show willingness to grow with the company and take on new responsibilities over time.

Requirements:

  • Female candidates only.
  • Good command of English (spoken and written); Arabic is a strong plus.
  • Completed at least middle school education (high school preferred).
  • Basic computer knowledge (typing, internet use, email, social media).
  • Friendly, hardworking, and willing to learn and grow in a team.
  • Must be proactive, organized, and able to work independently.
  • Retail or customer service experience is a plus.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.

Compensation & Terms:

  • Starting Salary: AED 2,000/month
  • Probation Period: 2 weeks (Visa and official offer letter issued after successful completion)
  • Other benefits as per the UAE Labour Law.
  • Accommodation is not provided, though performance-based incentives may be considered.

This is not a typical housekeeping job. We’re building a dynamic team and need someone who can help us grow, not just sit in the shop and wait.
