InterContinental Residences Dubai Business Bay is seeking a passionate, guest-focused, and service-oriented F&B Service Assistant to join our Food & Beverage team. This role is integral to delivering exceptional dining experiences that meet both InterContinental brand standards and Forbes luxury standard, ensuring every guest interaction is personalized, polished, and memorable.

Located in the heart of Dubai’s Business Bay, moments from iconic landmarks such as Dubai Mall and Burj Khalifa, InterContinental Residences Dubai Business Bay features 176 elegantly designed residences, offering refined luxury, comfort, and sophistication. As an F&B Service Assistant, your professionalism, attention to detail, and emotional intelligence will directly enhance guest satisfaction and uphold our reputation for excellence.

Your Day-to-Day

Every day is different, but you’ll mostly be:

Forbes-Level Guest Service & Experience

  • Deliver intuitive, anticipatory, and personalized service in line with Forbes standards.
  • Greet guests warmly using their name whenever possible and maintain eye contact and positive body language
  • Anticipate guest needs and proactively resolve concerns with empathy and discretion
  • Ensure each guest feels genuinely cared for and recognized

Food & Beverage Operations

  • Support daily restaurant, bar, and in-room dining operations with precision and professionalism
  • Serve food and beverages following Forbes and InterContinental sequence of service
  • Maintain immaculate table presentation, tray handling, and service timing
  • Assist with upselling and menu recommendations in a refined and non-intrusive manner

Quality, Hygiene & Safety

  • Follow all food safety, hygiene, and HACCP standards consistently
  • Ensure food handling, storage, and service meet luxury hospitality compliance
  • Maintain spotless service areas in line with Forbes cleanliness and presentation standards
  • Report maintenance, hygiene, or safety issues immediately

Luxury Standards & Brand Compliance

  • Uphold grooming, posture, and etiquette standards aligned with Forbes luxury benchmarks
  • Use refined language, tone, and professional behavior at all times
  • Protect guest privacy and confidentiality in all situations

Teamwork & Collaboration

  • Work seamlessly with kitchen, bar, and service colleagues to ensure flawless execution
  • Communicate guest preferences, allergies, and special requests clearly
  • Support team members during peak periods and VIP services

Operational Excellence

  • Handle service equipment, glassware, silverware, and linen with care and precision
  • Assist in inventory control, stock rotation, and requisitions as required
  • Adhere to SOPs, grooming standards, and service rituals

What We Need from You Education

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • Certification in Food Safety, HACCP, or Hospitality is an advantage

Qualifications & Experience

  • Previous experience in luxury hotel or fine dining service preferred
  • Knowledge of Forbes Travel Guide standards or luxury service culture is an advantage
  • Familiarity with international hotel brands is desirable
