Job Description

We are seeking a highly qualified and experienced Specialist Family Medicine physician to join a leading healthcare facility. The successful candidate will provide comprehensive primary and preventive healthcare to patients of all age groups, manage acute and chronic medical conditions, and establish long-term relationships with patients and families.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct comprehensive consultations, physical examinations, and health assessments.
  • Diagnose and manage acute and chronic medical conditions across all age groups.
  • Manage common conditions including diabetes, hypertension, asthma, dyslipidemia, thyroid disorders, respiratory infections, and gastrointestinal conditions.
  • Provide preventive healthcare, routine health screening, vaccination counseling, and wellness consultations.
  • Monitor and manage patients with chronic diseases through regular follow-up.
  • Provide lifestyle counseling related to nutrition, exercise, weight management, and smoking cessation.
  • Evaluate laboratory investigations, ECGs, imaging reports, and other diagnostic results.
  • Identify patients requiring specialist intervention and coordinate appropriate referrals.
  • Provide basic urgent and minor emergency care within the scope of practice.
  • Manage common womens health, mens health, adolescent health, and geriatric care needs.
  • Provide patient and family education regarding disease prevention, treatment plans, and medication adherence.
  • Maintain accurate and comprehensive medical records.
  • Collaborate with specialists, nurses, pharmacists, and allied healthcare professionals.
  • Participate in clinical audits, quality improvement initiatives, multidisciplinary meetings, and Continuing Medical Education (CME).
  • Ensure compliance with relevant healthcare authority regulations, hospital policies, infection control standards, and patient safety protocols.
  • Participate in on-call duties where required.

Qualifications & Requirements
  • MBBS or equivalent medical degree from a recognized institution.
  • MD / DNB / MRCGP / Arab Board / CCT in Family Medicine or equivalent recognized postgraduate qualification.
  • Minimum 3 years of post-specialization experience as a Specialist in Family Medicine.
  • Strong experience in primary care, preventive medicine, and chronic disease management.
  • Excellent clinical judgment, communication, and patient counseling skills.
  • Ability to work independently and effectively within a multidisciplinary healthcare team.
