Job Description

As a Factory Manager, you will play a critical role in overseeing the daily operations of a manufacturing facility, ensuring that production processes run smoothly and efficiently. Your leadership will help drive the productivity and quality of products, while you manage workforce performance and deploy resources effectively. You will also be responsible for minimizing production costs, setting production targets, and ensuring that all functional areas of the factory operate within safety and environmental regulations. Your ability to foster a culture of continuous improvement and maintain high standards of operational excellence will be essential to meet customer demands and enhance business growth.


Responsibilities

  • Oversee the entire factory operations, ensuring timely production of quality products.
  • Develop and implement production strategies to meet business objectives and goals.
  • Monitor and evaluate manufacturing processes to identify areas for improvement.
  • Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations within the factory.
  • Manage resource allocation effectively to optimize production and minimize waste.
  • Lead and motivate a team of supervisors and production staff to achieve set targets.
  • Coordinate with suppliers and the procurement team to ensure seamless supply chain operations.
  • Prepare and control operational budgets and ensure cost-efficiency in all areas.
  • Develop training programs to enhance the skills and capabilities of the workforce.
  • Analyze production data and provide reports on performance, trends, and forecasting.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance productivity and reduce downtime.
  • Build and maintain relationships with stakeholders to support business and production needs.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Business Management, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in a managerial role within a manufacturing setting.
  • Strong understanding of production machinery, processes, and industry best practices.
  • Excellent leadership skills with the ability to manage diverse teams effectively.
  • Exceptional problem-solving skills and the ability to make sound decisions quickly.
  • Familiarity with lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement methodologies.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to interact with different stakeholders.
  • Ability to handle stressful situations and resolve conflicts efficiently.
  • Proficiency in using manufacturing-related software and advanced knowledge of MS Office Suite.
