Facade Consultant

Job Description

AESG are seeking a skilled and motivated Facade Consultant to join our team in Dubai. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in facade design, engineering, and consultancy, with expertise in materials, building codes, and industry best practices.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide technical expertise on facade systems, materials, and performance requirements.
• Collaborate with architects, engineers, and contractors to develop innovative and cost-effective facade solutions.
• Conduct facade assessments, inspections, and compliance reviews in accordance with local regulations and industry standards.
• Prepare technical reports, specifications, and facade performance analyses.
• Oversee facade construction, quality control, and site inspections to ensure design intent is met.
• Independently manage complex projects and resolve complex project issues from concept design to detail design, as well as the construction stage. Coordinate with all project stakeholders.
• Work with the in-house design team to produce the project deliverables.
• Provide quick sketches to illustrate design ideas, substantiate by preliminary structural calculations.
• Keeping up to date with Façade market/standards/code of practice.

Essential Skills:

• Bachelors degree in Engineering, Architecture, or a related field.
• 4 to 5 years of experience in facade consultancy, design, or engineering.
• Knowledge of Middle East building codes, facade regulations, and compliance requirements.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
