Job Description

The Food & Beverage Supervisor plays a pivotal role in overseeing the daily operations of a restaurant, bar, or hospitality facility. As a critical team leader, this position ensures that guests receive exceptional service while maintaining a pleasant and dynamic dining atmosphere. Working closely with management and staff, the F&B Supervisor must balance operational efficiency with customer satisfaction, managing everything from staff schedules to quality control. Responsibilities

  • Oversee daily food and beverage operations ensuring smooth and efficient service.
  • Coordinate with kitchen and service staff to maintain food handling standards.
  • Develop and monitor staff schedules to optimize service and labor costs.
  • Conduct regular training sessions to enhance staff performance and customer service skills.
  • Ensure all guest feedback and complaints are addressed promptly and satisfactorily.
  • Manage inventory, including ordering and stocking of food and beverage supplies.
  • Monitor compliance with health, safety, and hygiene regulations at all times.
  • Assist with the planning and execution of special events and promotions.
  • Collaborate with management to establish and meet financial goals and budgets.
  • Maintain a positive team environment to encourage staff motivation and retention.
  • Analyze service operations and provide recommendations for continuous improvements.
  • Ensure all equipment and facilities are well-maintained and operational.

Requirements

  • Proven experience as a supervisor or in a leadership role in F&B settings.
  • Strong knowledge of food safety and hygiene practices is mandatory.
  • Excellent communication skills with a customer-oriented approach.
  • Ability to manage and motivate a diverse team effectively.
  • Skilled in problem-solving and conflict resolution techniques.
  • Proficiency in inventory management and understanding of budgetary constraints.
  • Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
