Job Description

The Food & Beverage Manager plays a critical role in ensuring the smooth operations of all food and beverage services within an establishment. Aimed at offering impeccable service and enhancing guest satisfaction, the F&B Manager oversees the entire spectrum of food and beverage operations, from planning and execution to achieving financial targets. This position requires a blend of strategic planning and operational oversight, with a focus on quality control, staff management, and customer service. The F&B Manager is tasked with maintaining a high standard of food and beverage services, developing vendor relationships, and ensuring compliance with all health and safety regulations. They also forecast, plan, and control ordering to ensure essential items are adequately stocked. Ideal candidates for this role have excellent leadership skills, a passion for food and beverages, and a knack for managing diverse teams.


Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute food and beverage strategies to meet financial goals.
  • Manage and supervise staff across all food and beverage operations.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and standards.
  • Coordinate menu planning and sourcing with chefs and suppliers.
  • Monitor customer satisfaction and make improvements in service quality.
  • Analyze food and beverage costs to maximize departmental profitability.
  • Conduct regular inspections to maintain quality and hygiene standards.
  • Organize staff training programs to enhance team performance.
  • Develop and manage vendor relationships to ensure high-quality supplies.
  • Oversee the maintenance and operation of all F&B facilities and equipment.
  • Prepare reports on sales, inventory, and finances for upper management.
  • Plan and execute promotional events to increase revenue and brand awareness.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management or a related field preferred.
  • At least five years of experience in a food and beverage management role.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills are essential for this role.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact with customers.
  • In-depth knowledge of food and beverage operations and regulations.
  • Proven ability to manage budgets and analyze financial data accurately.
  • Flexible work hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
