Job Description

As an Export Manager, you will be at the forefront of our international operations, leading efforts to expand our market presence globally. Your strategic mindset and keen understanding of international trade will drive the success of our export activities. You will oversee the logistics of exporting goods, ensuring compliance with both local and international regulations. Coordination is key as you work closely with sales, logistics, and marketing teams to streamline export processes. Your role will also involve maintaining relationships with overseas clients and partners to foster robust and enduring business connections. Your ability to anticipate market trends and navigate complex trade agreements will be crucial in advising best practices for market penetration and product delivery.


Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement comprehensive export strategies to maximize company profitability.
  • Ensure compliance with international trade regulations and local export laws.
  • Collaborate with sales and marketing teams to align export initiatives with business goals.
  • Manage relationships with international clients, ensuring high levels of satisfaction and retention.
  • Coordinate with logistics partners to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery of goods.
  • Monitor market trends and competitor strategies to identify new business opportunities.
  • Prepare and present reports on export activities for senior management review.
  • Negotiate contracts and trade agreements to secure advantageous terms for the company.
  • Develop risk management strategies to mitigate potential export challenges and disputes.
  • Supervise export documentation processes to ensure accuracy and compliance.
  • Train and mentor export staff to enhance their skills and performance.
  • Attend international trade fairs and conferences to promote our brand and expand our network.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in international business, logistics, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in an export management role for a minimum of three years.
  • Comprehensive understanding of international trade laws and regulations.
  • Strong negotiation and communication skills for dealing with international clients.
  • Proficiency in using export management software and tools effectively.
  • Ability to analyze market trends and develop strategic business plans.
  • Willingness to travel internationally to meet with clients and partners.
