Job Description

Client > Newly established, government-owned sovereign wealth fund in Emirates, established in January 2026 to focus on real estate, infrastructure development, and economic diversification
Experts > We are seeking professionals Professionals from around the world with proven experience in the planning, development, and launch of industrial zones as investment and business attraction hubs. The ideal CDO is a master planner and delivery leader with deep expertise in large-scale industrial, logistics and mixed-use development — from concept and permitting through construction, infrastructure delivery and handover.
Activities/Tasks > 1) Lead the end-to-end development of large-scale industrial parks and economic zones, from concept design to operational launch 2) Define and execute the development strategy, ensuring alignment with long-term business and investment objectives 3) Identify and secure strategic investment opportunities, partnerships, and anchor tenants 4) Oversee master planning, infrastructure development, and land-use optimization 5) Coordinate engineering, construction, utilities, and infrastructure delivery activities 6) Manage relationships with government authorities, regulatory bodies, and public stakeholders 7) Lead permitting, licensing, zoning, and environmental compliance processes 8) Structure and negotiate agreements with investors, developers, operators, and strategic partners 9) Develop commercial strategies to attract domestic and international manufacturing, logistics, and technology companies 10) Oversee financial planning, project budgets, funding strategies, and investment performance.
Requisites needed in any position > 20+ years in large-scale real estate or infrastructure development; background in Industrial cities, logistics parks, economic zones, mixed-use master developments; Value management > USD 2 – 10 Bn development programs from greenfield to delivery; commercial experience in Land monetization, development agreements, design-build procurement; Geography > GCC and/or emerging markets with complex regulatory environments; Governance > Led multidisciplinary development teams (>150 staff), PMO and delivery functions
Location > Ideally Emirates, abroad also OK for now > on demand on single initiative
Rates > These individuals are expected to bring a high economic impact to the fund, leveraging their track record in driving growth, profitability, and enterprise value creation within complex organizations. Extremely interesting daily rates offered.
