Job Description

As an Exhibition Sales Executive, you will play a pivotal role in driving revenue and achieving business objectives for exhibition events. This dynamic position requires a candidate who is enthusiastic about sales and marketing within the exhibition industry and has an innate ability to generate new business while managing existing client relationships. You will be responsible for identifying potential clients, understanding their needs, and presenting exhibition solutions that meet their objectives. Your success in this role will be measured by your ability to meet and exceed sales targets, build strong client relationships, and contribute to the overall success of the exhibition events. A strong passion for exhibitions and sales, coupled with excellent communication and negotiation skills, will be crucial for this position.


Responsibilities

  • Identify and develop new business opportunities through market research and networking.
  • Maintain and grow relationships with existing clients to ensure repeat business.
  • Prepare and present compelling sales presentations to prospective clients.
  • Negotiate contracts and close deals with clients to meet sales targets.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to create effective promotional strategies.
  • Generate leads and follow up with them promptly to generate sales.
  • Attend industry events and exhibitions to represent the company and network with potential clients.
  • Stay updated on market trends and competitor activities to identify new opportunities.
  • Provide regular sales reports and forecasts to the management team.
  • Manage multiple client accounts and ensure their needs are met efficiently.
  • Coordinate with the operations team to ensure successful delivery of client requirements.
  • Upsell additional products or services to existing clients to maximize revenue.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Proven experience as a sales executive in the exhibition industry.
  • Strong understanding of sales and marketing principles and practices.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills are essential.
  • Ability to build and nurture productive business relationships with clients.
  • Self-motivated, results-driven, and able to work under pressure to meet targets.
  • Familiarity with CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite is required.
  • Ability to travel as needed for client meetings and industry events.
  • Outstanding organizational and time management skills are crucial.
