Job Description

As an Exhibition Sales Executive, you will be at the forefront of our sales operations, tasked with driving new business growth and managing key customer accounts in the exhibition industry. Your primary role will involve selling exhibition space and sponsorship packages to prospective clients and nurturing relationships with existing clients to maximize revenue opportunities. You will be responsible for understanding client needs and tailoring sales approaches to effectively meet those needs. This role is ideal for someone with excellent communication skills, a persuasive attitude, and a knack for networking. As you liaise between clients and internal departments, you’ll ensure smooth execution of exhibition events, reflecting the company’s standards of quality and excellence.


Responsibilities

  • Identify and generate new leads through various sales channels and strategies.
  • Develop and implement sales plans to achieve set targets and objectives.
  • Build strong relationships with existing and potential clients for repeat business.
  • Negotiate contracts, closing sales deals with clients, ensuring profitability.
  • Coordinate with marketing to design promotional materials for exhibitions.
  • Attend networking events and industry conferences to identify potential clients.
  • Ensure client satisfaction by providing excellent service and addressing concerns.
  • Collaborate with event managers to ensure successful execution of exhibitions.
  • Prepare sales reports and forecasts to inform business strategy and adjustments.
  • Follow up on leads and conduct regular client follow-ups to maintain engagement.
  • Provide feedback to management on market trends and competitors’ activities.
  • Update CRM systems with all client and sales activities regularly and accurately.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field preferred.
  • Proven track record in sales, preferably in the exhibitions or events industry.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for client interactions.
  • Strong negotiation skills with the ability to close deals effectively.
  • Self-motivated and goal-driven with a proactive approach to tasks.
  • Able to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines while maintaining quality.
  • Familiarity with CRM software and proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Willingness to travel for client meetings and industry events as required.
