The Exhibition Operation Manager is a dynamic and challenging role, essential to the planning and execution of various exhibitions and trade shows. Responsibilities

  • Develop and oversee comprehensive exhibition plans from inception to completion.
  • Coordinate all logistics, including vendor selection and contract negotiations.
  • Manage exhibition budgets, ensuring costs are controlled without compromising quality.
  • Liaise with clients to understand their needs and tailor exhibitions accordingly.
  • Ensure adherence to timelines, delivering exhibitions on schedule and within scope.
  • Lead cross-functional teams, ensuring effective communication and collaboration.
  • Coordinate on-site event operations, addressing issues and implementing solutions.
  • Ensure compliance with health, safety, and legal regulations throughout exhibitions.
  • Analyze post-exhibition data to assess success and identify improvement areas.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry trends and best practices.
  • Conduct risk assessments and develop contingency plans for potential issues.
  • Foster strong relationships with vendors, clients, and internal teams.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Event Management, Hospitality, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in exhibition or event operations management is essential.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills to guide diverse teams.
  • Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities under tight deadlines.
  • Strong communication skills to interact effectively with stakeholders.
  • In-depth understanding of budget management and vendor negotiation.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends as needed.
