Position Overview
The Warehouse Planning Executive is responsible for supporting and executing strategic planning initiatives within warehouse operations. This role focuses on planning for warehouse relocation, expansion, and continuous improvement projects to enhance operational efficiency, space utilization, and workflow optimization. This position requires close collaboration with cross-functional and international stakeholders, as well as the ability to interpret warehouse data and systems to support informed decision-making.
Key Responsibilities
- Support planning and execution of warehouse relocation, expansion, and layout redesign projects
- Analyze current warehouse operations and propose improvements in processes, space utilization, and productivity
- Collaborate with internal teams and external stakeholders across different countries to align warehouse operation requirements
- Assist in developing warehouse layouts, workflows, and capacity planning models
- Utilize Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and operational data to support planning decisions
- Monitor project timelines and ensure deliverables are met according to plan
- Assist team in developing, compiling and deliver presentations to stakeholders regarding the progress of the ongoing projects.
- Prepare reports, presentations, and documentation for planning initiatives and decision making
- Identify risks and recommend mitigation strategies during project planning and execution
- Support continuous improvement initiatives within warehouse operations
- Search and identify potential recruit agency for hiring process of local warehouse managers and supervisors that oversee warehouse operations and ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
- Identify and evaluate suitable warehouse opportunities by researching the market and sourcing agents or landlords.
- Coordinate and manage the rental process by liaising with stakeholders and reviewing agreements to ensure smooth and compliant transactions.
- Develop and maintain relationships with vendor, suppliers, and other stakeholders to ensure timely and cost -effective delivery of warehouse services and material.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Engineering, Business, or related field
- 1–3 years of experience in warehouse operations, logistics, or supply chain (planning exposure is an advantage)
- Basic understanding of warehouse operations and processes
- Familiarity with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) is preferred
- Ability to analyze and interpret operational data
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other data tools
- Good command of English (spoken and written), with the ability to communicate effectively in a multicultural environment
- Willingness to travel if required for project support
