As an Executive in Planning within the Manufacturing and Packaging Industry, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing the operational planning processes that drive the efficiency of our production activities. In this dynamic position, you will be responsible for coordinating and optimizing the production schedules, ensuring the alignment of resources with demand forecasts, and maintaining the seamless flow of operations. You will engage in strategic planning and operational management, collaborating with various departments to ensure timely delivery of products to customers while minimizing waste and maximizing productivity. Your expertise will contribute to achieving cost-effective production and fostering continuous improvement within the organization.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain efficient production schedules to meet customer demand accurately.
• Coordinate across departments to align manufacturing activities with production goals.
• Analyze and interpret production data to forecast future manufacturing needs effectively.
• Optimize resource allocation, ensuring materials and labor are available as needed.
• Implement process improvements to increase productivity and reduce production costs.
• Monitor quality standards and compliance with industry regulations and company policies.
• Prepare detailed reports on production performance and present findings to management.
• Manage inventory levels to prevent shortages or overstock of materials and products.
• Coordinate with suppliers to ensure the timely delivery of materials needed for production.
• Supervise and provide leadership to planning staff to enhance team performance.
• Resolve any production issues that may arise promptly to avoid disruptions.
• Collaborate with R&D and Quality Assurance in new product development and launches.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, or a related field.
• Minimum of three years’ experience in production planning within manufacturing or packaging.
• Strong analytical skills and ability to forecast production requirements accurately.
• Proficient in production planning software and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively across departments.
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational and time management skills.
• Ability to adapt to changing priorities and work in a fast-paced environment.
