Objective:

The Executive – L&D is responsible for creating and implementing training programs that support career development. This role involves setting performance metrics, evaluating productivity, and assisting employees in developing long-term career plans within the organization.

Key Responsibility:

  • Manage, plan, and implement all training activities in the region and UAE, ensuring alignment with existing policies and best practices to effectively support sales objectives.
  • Initiate and develop new learning and development initiatives tailored to employee and business needs.
  • Create, communicate, coordinate, and implement the annual training calendar for all brands within the organization.
  • Monitor and guide the training team to enhance conversion rates for brands through effective training methodologies.
  • Conduct cost-effective training solutions that address employee development needs.
  • Acquire product knowledge of new brands in the portfolio and train the training team accordingly.
  • Review training content prepared for various brands and provide enhancements as needed.
  • Analyze training feedback from employees and implement relevant changes to improve training programs.
  • Recommend new learning materials and delivery approaches to optimize training effectiveness.
  • Ensure the training team adheres to the best training and development practices.
  • Manage training delivery measurement, follow up, and maintain comprehensive records of training activities.
  • Design and implement training courses and programs that meet the diverse needs of the organization and its multicultural workforce.
  • Implement training processes and modules to facilitate effective learning outcomes.
  • Initiate in-store and leadership programs aimed at enhancing employees’ people skills.
  • Visit retail outlets to assess retail staff skills through mock sessions or observations and provide constructive feedback.
  • Organize third-party mystery shopping assessments to evaluate service quality.
  • Motivate, supervise, and guide the training team, ensuring effective manpower planning for the training department.

Desired Experience:

  • The ideal E xecutive – L&D will have 3-5 years of experience in a related field such as training, human resources, or retail operations is desirable.
  • Familiarity with learning management systems (LMS), is preferred with a Strong communication, presentation, and organizational skills are essential.
  • Additionally, a candidate with a proven track record of effectively coordinating and facilitating training initiatives, adapting to the dynamic nature of retail, and collaborating with various stakeholders would be highly desirable.
