Executive Assistant to the Senior Leadership Team

GEMS FirstPoint School is seeking to appoint an outstanding Executive Assistant to support our Senior Leadership Team.

This is a busy, varied, and highly rewarding role that sits at the heart of the school. The successful candidate will provide high-quality administrative and organisational support to senior leaders while helping to ensure the smooth and efficient operation of a wide range of school functions.

Applicants must have a minimum of three years' experience working within a school environment and be able to demonstrate exceptional organisational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously. The role requires an individual who is highly proficient with systems and processes, works effectively to deadlines, communicates professionally and promptly with parents and stakeholders, and is willing to adapt to the changing demands of a dynamic school environment.

In addition to providing executive and administrative support, the postholder will take responsibility for the administration and coordination of the school's sports programme and Extra-Curricular Activities (ECAs). Experience in sports administration, ECA coordination, or similar areas would be a distinct advantage.

The successful candidate will be proactive, resilient, solution-focused, and able to build positive relationships across all areas of the school community. They will thrive in a fast-paced environment and take pride in delivering exceptional service and support.

Skills

  • Exhibit exemplary written and spoken English language skills, including exceptional telephone etiquette.
  • Demonstrate proficiency in the Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)and other relevant administrative tools.
  • Possess strong presentation skills and the ability to communicate effectively with diverse stakeholders.
  • Capable of handling multiple tasks simultaneously and managing time efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
