Job Description

About HIVE

HIVE is a real estate development and operations company redefining modern living through character-driven spaces and community-focused environments. Born from the need to offer people a more meaningful and flexible way to live, HIVE blends personal comfort with shared experiences. Our thoughtfully designed apartments and dynamic hubs cultivate curiosity, dialogue, and a sense of belonging – because life is richer when it’s shared. Our buildings are branded, hospitality-influenced residential products where the quality of design directly defines the resident experience.

Purpose of Role:

We are looking for a Events Intern (Part-Time) to join our team and support the planning, coordination and delivery of our community events, brand collaborations and cultural programming in our HIVE JVC asset.

Working closely with the Brand Experience Manager and the Community Coordinator, this is a practical, hands-on internship focused primarily on event-day coordination, set-up, live delivery and breakdown.

Please note: This is a part-time, six-month internship of 10-12 hours per week, mainly on weekends and evenings, in line with our events calendar. A significant part of this role is on-the-ground event support, which involves a lot of physical activity.

Key Role Responsibilities:

  • Supporting the planning, coordination and delivery of HIVE’s event calendar

  • Taking an active role in the physical set-up, running and breakdown of events

  • Supporting suppliers, partners, talent and collaborators on event days

  • Helping manage event timings, run sheets, guest lists, RSVPs and logistics

  • Preparing event spaces and ensuring everything is ready ahead of doors opening

  • Researching talent, collectives, brands, suppliers and potential collaborators

  • Supporting sourcing and coordination of event materials, equipment and production requirements

  • Being a reliable point of support on the ground to help events run smoothly from start to finish

Ideal Candidate Profile

  • Open to students or recent graduates who are looking for part-time, temporary work

  • Genuine interest in Dubai’s events, music, hospitality, design, and cultural scene, with a curiosity about the people, brands, and collectives shaping it

  • Keeps up to date with what is happening across the city and brings new places, ideas and references back to the team

  • Highly organised, with the ability to manage multiple tasks, stay on top of detail and see things through to completion

  • Proactive and takes initiative

  • Hands-on approach to events, willing to support with preparation, set-up, live delivery and breakdown

  • Resourceful and calm under pressure, adaptable and agile

  • Strong communication skills, comfortable liaising with residents, guests, suppliers, talent and external partners

  • Comfortable working in a small, evolving team, with a willingness to take on a range of responsibilities

  • Flexible and available to work evenings and weekends in line with the events calendar

  • Genuine enthusiasm to learn and develop a career in events and brand experience

Qualifications

  • No formal qualifications required

  • Must hold an existing, valid UAE residency (for example under a family visa, student visa etc), which remains valid through the full 6-month contract term

Start Date

  • 1st November 2026
