Environmental Consultant (Marine)

The Environmental Consultant (Marine) will provide environmental expertise and consultation services to clients in the marine industry. They will assess and mitigate environmental risks, ensure compliance with regulations, and develop sustainable practices to protect the marine ecosystem.

Responsibilities

• Conduct environmental impact assessments (EIA) for marine projects.
• Develop and implement environmental management plans (EMP) for marine operations.
• Assess and mitigate potential environmental risks and impacts.
• Ensure compliance with local and international environmental regulations.
• Advise clients on sustainable practices to minimize environmental impacts.
• Conduct research and analyze data related to marine ecosystems.
• Collaborate with stakeholders, government agencies, and NGOs in marine conservation efforts.
• Provide environmental training and awareness programs to clients and employees.
• Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of environmental management practices.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest environmental regulations and best practices.

• Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Marine Biology, or a related field.
• Proven experience as an environmental consultant or similar role in the marine industry.
• In-depth knowledge of marine ecosystems and their conservation.
• Familiarity with environmental regulations and policies.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
