Please note: this is not a relocation role. Candidates must already be based in the UAE and have experience selling to or working with African markets, along with an existing network or relevant regional exposure

Job requirements:

• Minimum of 7 years of experience in similar Sales or Business Development or Partnerships roles in a payments, SaaS, or ecommerce role
• Cross-Border and Enterprise Sales Expertise: Proven success in driving sales and business development between the Middle East and Africa, focusing on cross-border transactions and generating leads for large enterprise clients
• Demonstrated local network and market knowledge, with a strong local reputation in the industry. Established network of key business relationships within the Middle East and Africa, to quickly unlock market expansion and strategic partnership opportunities
• Tools and Technology: Proficient with CRM software (e.g. Salesforce, Freshdesk, HubSpot), LinkedIn Sales Navigator, and other lead-generation and relationship management tools

Job responsibilities:

• Cross-Border Sales Experience across the Middle East and Africa: Proven track record in developing a pipeline and driving sales and business development across Middle East and Africa, with a focus on corporate and enterprise clients and cross-border transactions
• Business Development and Networking: Build relationships with companies trading between the Middle East and Africa to support their expansion and collections capabilities, while prospecting via cold calling, email campaigns, LinkedIn, and industry events
• Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to engage senior-level decision-makers effectively
• CRM: Ongoing tracking of outreach activities, progress, and interactions within Moment’s CRM systems, ensuring timely follow-ups and the monitoring of key performance metrics
• Self-starter: Evidence an ability to think and act as a business owner, with a strong affinity for taking initiative, ownership and working independently
