Enterprise Account Executive – South Africa (Dubai)

The Enterprise Account Executive is an acquisition-focused role responsible for driving net-new enterprise business and acquiring new logos within the South African market. This individual will build relationships with prospective enterprise customers, identify and develop new opportunities, and manage the full sales cycle from initial prospecting through negotiation and close. Individuals who excel at this job have the ability to prospect, develop, and close business within a timely manner while focusing on clients’ requirements.

The Enterprise Account Executive must have the confidence and ability to negotiate and close agreements with new clients and support new customers through our onboarding process.

As an Enterprise Account Executive at Snowflake, you will:

• Drive net-new enterprise business and logo acquisition across the allocated territory, with a strong focus on prospecting and winning new customers.
• Achieve sales quotas for allocated prospective accounts on a quarterly and annual basis by developing a sales strategy in the allocated territory with a target prospect list and regional sales plan.
• Develop marketing plans with the marketing team to drive pipeline and revenue growth.
• Be the trusted advisor to prospective customers by understanding their existing and future IT roadmap to drive the Snowflake solution within the marketplace.
• Qualify prospects and develop new sales opportunities and revenue streams.
• Arrange and conduct initial executive and CxO discussions and positioning meetings.
• Manage the full sales process from prospecting and qualification through negotiation and close.
• Support newly acquired customers to ensure a successful transition and onboarding experience.
• Use a solution-based approach to selling, manage complex sales processes, and demonstrate excellent presentation, listening, organization, and contact-management skills.
  
  
  

Our ideal Enterprise Account Executive will have:

• 7+ years of field sales experience preferred, with an emphasis on data or cloud-related technology.
• 5+ years of industry-focused experience generating net-new business and acquiring enterprise logos within the META region, specifically South Africa.
• Proven ability to independently prospect, develop, and close new client relationships.
• Experience achieving a quota of $1M+ ARR per year.
• A strong track record of consistent prospecting activity, pipeline generation, new-logo acquisition, and quota achievement.
• Experience determining customer requirements and presenting appropriate solutions.
• A proactive, independent mindset with high energy and a positive attitude.
• Excellent verbal and written communication, presentation, and relationship-management skills.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced startup environment.
• Executive-level relationship-management experience.
• Ability to understand the bigger picture and the business drivers around IT.
