At DeepL, were embarking on an exciting new chapter: building our presence in the Middle East from the ground up. As we expand our operations to match our ambitious growth plans, were creating a brand-new Sales team in Dubai — and we want you to be part of this pioneering journey.

Our Sales team is a cornerstone of DeepLs market expansion and customer engagement strategy. In the Middle East, youll have the unique opportunity to shape our market entry, establish our presence, and build something extraordinary from day one.

Our mission is clear: to build and develop high-performing sales teams that embody DeepLs innovative spirit and drive for excellence. As a founding member of our Middle East Sales team, you will be at the forefront of driving our growth in this exciting new market. Working in close partnership with Marketing, Product, and Customer Success teams, you will collaborate to deliver tailored solutions that meet the needs of clients across the region while helping us establish DeepL as the go-to language solution in the Middle East.

Your Responsibilities

  • Pioneer DeepLs expansion into the Middle East: you will be instrumental in establishing our presence and introducing our market-leading translation service to enterprises across the region, helping them eliminate language barriers
  • Become an ambassador for DeepLs products and a trusted expert on our customers needs in the region, building relationships that last well beyond the first sale
  • As a valued partner to potential new business and incoming customers, you will qualify and convert leads and manage the entire sales cycle while helping shape our Middle East go-to-market strategy
  • Strive to meet and exceed monthly activity, pipeline, and revenue goals as we build momentum in this new market
  • Build a pipeline of new business from scratch, pursuing upselling and cross-selling opportunities as we grow our customer base across the region
  • Respond to inbound prospects and customers, managing a range of opportunities from qualification to close
  • Forecast and track all opportunity and customer details including use cases, purchase timeframes, and next steps
  • Work closely with our diverse, international, and welcoming teams from SDR to Marketing, contributing insights from the Middle East market to inform our expansion strategy

Qualities we look for

  • Proven experience in Enterprise SaaS sales within the Middle East, with a strong understanding of the regional business culture and market landscape
  • Experience selling into and expanding large Enterprise accounts as well as selling emerging technologies and winning new logos
  • You are known for consistently delivering against — and beyond — sales targets
  • A natural collaborator: you know how to bring cross-functional teams together to achieve the best outcome for the customer
  • Entrepreneurial mindset: youre energised by the opportunity to build something new and excited to help shape DeepLs Middle East market entry
  • You feel at home in a fast-paced, dynamic environment: youre able to shift priorities and adapt as the market evolves
  • Based in Dubai, with the right to work in the UAE
  • Fluent in English; Arabic is a strong plus
