Engineering Manager

Guildhall is running a search for a large regional contractor-developer with live high-rise and commercial projects underway in Dubai. This Engineering Manager will own the technical and coordination side of active sites — structural, architectural, mechanical and electrical — reporting directly to the Project Director. The client is scaling its Dubai site team quickly to keep pace with project milestones, and is hiring more than one senior technical role at once. It's a seat on live, moving projects, not a desk reviewing someone else's work.

This role is open to candidates currently living in the UAE with GCC work experience and fluent Arabic.

Salary up to AED 50,000 per month

The role

• Run the technical and coordination side of live high-rise or commercial sites in Dubai.
• Sit across structural, architectural, mechanical and electrical teams daily.
• Hold sub-contractors accountable for programme, quality and output.
• Manage budgets, cost reporting, variance claims and settlements.
• Review and approve design changes, materials and cost estimates.
• Report directly to the Project Director on technical and site matters.

What you'll bring

• Civil engineering degree, with professional certification where applicable.
• 15-20 years in high-rise, commercial or industrial construction.
• Direct experience supervising major construction sites, not office-based review.
• Classified Unlimited Floors Engineer status.
• Strong budget management, cost reporting and claims experience.
• Proven ability coordinating multi-disciplinary teams and third-party contractors.
