InterContinental Dubai Marina is a Five Star luxury hotel & residence in the heart of Dubai Marina with 328 rooms and residence suites, flexible event space and restaurants & bars. With over 30 languages and countries represented by the staff, the hotel weaves together an international five-star presence.

A little taste of your day-to-day:

Your role will include but not be limited to:

• Generate daily, weekly, and monthly reports on maintenance activities and equipment performance.
• Maintain and update the engineering departments records, logs, and reports.
• Coordinate work orders and track their status to ensure timely resolution of maintenance requests.
• Coordinate with other departments to ensure timely maintenance support and high guest satisfaction.
• Assist in planning and implementing preventive maintenance schedules.
• Manage inventory of spare parts, tools, and equipment, including procurement and stock control.
• Prepare departmental correspondence, reports, and meeting minutes as required.
• Monitor energy consumption and support sustainability initiatives as directed.
• Ensure compliance with hotel environmental, health, and safety regulations.
• Schedule and coordinate vendor visits, equipment servicing, and repairs.
• Act as the first point of contact for engineering-related inquiries, maintaining professional and friendly communication.
• Support administrative tasks including report preparation, annual leave tracking, payroll coordination, and the use of IHG systems and software.
• Monitor and control the Engineering systems to ensure all set parameters are maintained at all times.

Ideally, youll have some or all the following qualifications and experience were looking for:

• Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Engineering or Facilities Management field preferred.
• 2-3 years of experience in a similar role within the hospitality industry or facilities coordination.
• Strong written and spoken English communication skills.
• Proven ability to identify, troubleshoot, and resolve system faults efficiently.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint).
• Familiarity with AutoCAD or engineering schematics is a plus
• Highly organized with strong coordination, planning, and multitasking abilities.
• Familiarity with IHG systems for administrative and operational reporting is an advantage
