Job Description

The Engineer/FAN Execution role is integral to our Fixed Network Development department. You will be responsible for managing cable and construction projects, overseeing site investigations, and providing technical guidance to ensure successful project outcomes. Your expertise will contribute to the overall development and maintenance of our network infrastructure.

Responsibilities

• Manage and execute cable projects, ensuring timely and safe completion.
• Conduct on-site investigations, analyze data, and assess risks.
• Guide contractors on priorities and strategies to enhance productivity.
• Coordinate with relevant authorities and stakeholders for smooth project execution.
• Ensure compliance with local regulations and Etisalats requirements.
• Verify and approve cable testing and as-built drawings.
• Approve completion documents and diary sheets.
• Update project databases with accurate completion details.
• Oversee construction site safety and ensure compliance with regulations.
• Provide technical expertise and support to the project team.
  
  

• Bachelors degree in Engineering or a related field.
• Strong project management and organizational skills.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
• Proficiency in using relevant engineering software and tools.
• Knowledge of local regulations and Etisalats policies.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects.
• Analytical mindset with problem-solving skills.
• Valid driving license and willingness to travel.
• Familiarity with construction site safety protocols.
