Engineer - Facilities

Job Description

The Facility Engineer oversees the maintenance, repair, and optimization of all physical assets including MEP (Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing), HVAC , and structural systems. This role ensures that the facility remains safe, functional, and compliant with local regulations while managing energy efficiency and operational costs

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement Planned Preventive Maintenance (PPM) programs for critical systems like elevators, generators, and fire protection.
• Conduct root cause analysis for equipment failures and perform reactive repairs on complex building systems.
• Supervise specialized service providers, review service level agreements (SLAs), and approve completed work.
• Ensure the building meets all health, safety, and environmental (HSE) standards and legal codes.
• Monitor utility consumption (electricity, water, gas) and implement energy-saving initiatives.
• Oversee minor renovations, equipment upgrades, and facility expansions from design to commissioning.
• Maintain accurate maintenance logs, equipment inventory, and operational budget reports.
  
  

• Bachelor’s degree in mechanical, Electrical, or Civil Engineering.
• Experience 3- 5 years in facility management or a related engineering field.
