Engineer - Facilities

Job Description

Facilities Engineer bridges the gap between technical execution and client relationship management. They ensure that Integrated Facilities Management (IFM) contracts are profitable, meet strict Service Level Agreements (SLAs) , and maintain high safety standards across multiple client sites.

Responsibilities

• Execute Annual Maintenance Contracts (AMC) efficiently to meet financial targets while tracking Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) for service delivery.
• Supervise the operation and Planned Preventive Maintenance (PPM) of MEP, HVAC, firefighting, and building automation systems (BMS).
• Coordinate and monitor external service providers for specialized tasks like lift maintenance, water tank cleaning, or security and custodial services.
• Conduct energy audits and implement cost-saving initiatives to reduce the facilitys environmental footprint.
• Ensure all site activities comply with local regulations (e.g., Dubai Municipality, DEWA, Civil Defense ) and maintain accurate safety records/work permits. Act as the primary technical point of contact for major breakdowns or infrastructure emergencies.
  
  

• Bachelor’s degree in mechanical, Electrical, or Electromechanical Engineering
• 3–5+ years in the FM industry, often requiring specific regional experience
