POSITION
At Codeway, we have a saying: wherever we go, Codeway comes alive. Our events, our spaces, our merch, our culture moments are not afterthoughts. They are brand expressions, produced with the same obsession for detail that goes into our products.

The Brand Team is a small, lean team that functions as Codeways in-house creative studio. It includes dedicated designers, motion and video specialists, copywriters, communications leads, and an employee experience team that has built one of the most recognized event operations in the companys history. Every discipline you need to create something great is already in the room.

Now we need someone to bring that standard to Barcelona. Someone who knows the city. Who knows the venues, the suppliers, the logistics, and the culture. Someone who can build Codeways operational foundation here from scratch and make sure that every event, every all-hands, every piece of merch, every moment we produce in this city is unmistakably ours.

You will work closely with the employee experience team, the design team, and HR to own your projects end to end. Together, you will build the infrastructure for Codeways European presence, starting with Barcelona and expanding from there.

This is not an office management role. This is not a generic events coordinator role. This is a brand experience role inside a creative team, for someone who understands that how a company shows up physically is as important as how it shows up on screen.

What Youll Be Doing

  • Build and maintain Codeways vendor and supplier network in Barcelona: venues, caterers, production partners, merch suppliers.
  • Produce internal events, lifestyle events, team celebrations, and culture moments that carry the Codeway standard.
  • Manage merch production end to end: ongoing brand refresh, event-specific drops, new hire welcome kits. Curate moodboards and visual benchmarks that spark the design team.
  • Support the production quality of all-hands meetings, business updates, and leadership sessions. Make sure they carry Codeways standard, not just a meeting in a room.
  • Plan, source, and produce hiring events, campus activities, and recruitment drives across Barcelona and Europe.
  • Scout venues, suppliers, and production partners in new European cities as Codeways presence grows.
  • Negotiate contracts and manage vendor relationships to ensure quality and cost-effectiveness.



What Youll Bring
Barcelona knowledge. You have lived in Barcelona for at least 3-4 years. You know the city: venues, neighborhoods, suppliers, how things work here. Ideally, you also have a professional and social network we can tap into. This is not something we can teach.

Vendor management. This is the core skill. Finding the right people, negotiating well, managing relationships, ensuring quality, and holding everyone accountable. If you cannot manage vendors at a high level, this role is not the right fit.

Detail obsession. The difference between a good event and a Codeway event is in the hundred small decisions most people would not notice but everyone can tell. You care about those decisions.

Visual taste. You are not a designer, but you have an eye. When you present a venue, a merch sample, or an event concept, it is clear you have standards. You bring researched options that make sense for the context, not the first thing you found.

Resourcefulness. You do not wait for someone to hand you a contact list. You find people, figure things out, and build from scratch when needed.

Cost consciousness. You always look for better deals and smarter options without sacrificing quality. You track spending carefully and think about cost before being asked.

Openness to feedback. You work within a team that has high standards and strong opinions. You take feedback well, adjust, and come back better.

English. Professional level English. Spanish is a strong nice to have.

2+ years in events, employee experience, workplace experience, or a closely related operational role. Experience in tech, startups, or creative environments preferred.
