Role Summary

The role holder will oversee and manage Emiratization processes, ensuring full compliance with regulatory requirements and the effective administration of associated benefits. This includes monitoring employment metrics, maintaining accurate documentation, managing labor cards and pension processes, and collaborating with government authorities and Human Capital teams to address and resolve related challenges.

ROLE PROFILE

  • Ensure full compliance with Tawteen regulations by tracking UAE National employment metrics and maintaining accurate, up-to-date documentation.
  • Prepare and issue regular reports on Emiratization targets, pension contributions, and daily Tawteen updates for internal and external stakeholders.
  • Manage labor card and pension processes for Emirati employees, ensuring timely submissions and accurate pension contributions.
  • Maintain precise records of labor card expiry dates, employment data, and ensure data accuracy and integrity across WPS and MAF internal systems.
  • Monitor Average Handling Time (AHT) for all assigned applications to ensure operational efficiency and prevent penalties arising from non-compliance with government mandates.
  • Participate in MOHRE, Nafis, and other relevant government workshops to remain informed on regulatory updates and best practices.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for government entities during audits and inspections, ensuring compliance across all operating companies and resolving fines, discrepancies, and contribution issues with minimal business impact.
  • Drive Emiratization priorities by setting clear deadlines and conducting regular coordination meetings with Human Capital and finance teams across all OpCos to address hiring, labor cancellations, and pension data requirements.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or a related discipline.
  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience in government relations or a related role, with a strong focus on Emiratization and regulatory compliance.
  • Proficiency in data management and reporting, with experience in tools such as Power BI considered an advantage.
  • Competence in managing government inspections, compliance audits, and regulatory interactions.
  • Proven experience in Emiratization compliance, including pension administration and labor card processes.
  • Strong knowledge of Tawteen regulations, MOHRE procedures, and UAE labor laws.
