Job Description

An Email Marketing Specialist is responsible for creating, implementing, and optimizing email marketing campaigns that enhance customer engagement and generate leads. The role requires a deep understanding of email marketing software, analytics, and consumer behavior patterns to effectively tailor messages that resonate with target audiences. The specialist will work closely with content creators, designers, and sales teams to ensure that all email communications align with the company’s branding and marketing strategies. Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute email marketing campaigns that align with company goals and target audience.
  • Collaborate with content creators to produce engaging and relevant email content.
  • Analyze email metrics such as open rates, click-through rates, and conversions to assess performance.
  • Conduct A/B testing to determine the most effective email subject lines and content.
  • Maintain and update email marketing databases to ensure high deliverability and clean data.
  • Coordinate with design teams to create visually appealing and brand-aligned email templates.
  • Segment email lists based on customer demographics and behavior for targeted marketing efforts.
  • Ensure compliance with data protection regulations, such as GDPR and CAN-SPAM laws.
  • Monitor industry trends and competitor email marketing strategies to innovate and improve campaigns.
  • Provide regular reports on email marketing performance and insights to senior management.
  • Integrate email marketing software with CRM and other digital marketing tools.
  • Provide training and support to team members on email marketing best practices and software use.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field is preferred.
  • At least 2 years of experience in email marketing or digital marketing roles.
  • Proficiency in email marketing software like Mailchimp, Constant Contact, or similar tools.
  • Strong understanding of email marketing metrics, analytics, and SEO principles.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a focus on detail.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Creative problem-solving skills with a customer-centric approach to marketing.
  • Familiarity with marketing automation platforms and CRM software is advantageous.
  • Up-to-date knowledge of the latest trends and technologies in email marketing.
