ELV Senior Technician (225-723)

As an ELV Senior Technician, you will be a pivotal part of our technical team, specializing in the installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of Extra Low Voltage (ELV) systems. These systems include but are not limited to CCTV, access control, fire alarms, and public address systems. You will work closely with project managers and clients to ensure that systems are installed according to clients' specifications and operational requirements. Your technical expertise, attention to detail, and problem-solving skills will play a critical role in delivering high-quality projects within the defined timeline. This role requires a thorough understanding of industry standards, best practices, and the ability to lead a team of technicians.

Responsibilities

• Install and configure ELV systems including CCTV, access control, and fire alarms.
• Perform preventative maintenance and routine inspections of ELV systems and equipment.
• Troubleshoot and rectify technical issues related to ELV systems promptly.
• Supervise junior technicians and provide training and support as necessary.
• Collaborate with project managers to understand project requirements and specifications.
• Ensure compliance with industry standards and safety regulations at all times.
• Document all service and installation activities for future reference and compliance audits.
• Coordinate with clients to ensure understanding and satisfaction of system capabilities.
• Stay updated with the latest technologies and updates in ELV systems and equipment.
• Provide on-site support and emergency service for ELV system outages or issues.
• Plan and execute system upgrades and expansions with minimal interruptions.
• Assist in the preparation of technical reports and documentation for projects.

Requirements

• Diploma or certification in Electronics, Electrical, or a related field is required.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in ELV systems installation and maintenance.
• Strong knowledge of ELV systems including CCTV, fire alarm, and access control.
• Proficient in reading and interpreting technical diagrams and schematics.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to perform under pressure.
• Strong leadership abilities and experience supervising a team of technicians.
• Ability to work independently with strong attention to detail and adherence to deadlines.
• Good communication skills to effectively interact with clients and team members.
• Valid driver's license and ability to travel to various project sites is required.
