ELV Engineer

Role Purpose

To coordinate and supervise the installation of Extra Low Voltage (ELV) systems on Innovo MEP projects, ensuring ELV systems are installed safely, accurately, and in compliance with project specifications and authority requirements. 

• Technical Coordination 
• Coordinate ELV systems including CCTV, access control, PA, fire alarm, structured cabling, and IPTV. 
• Review ELV shop drawings and coordinate with BIM team for model updates. 
• Submittal & Documentation 
• Prepare material submittals, method statements, and technical documents for ELV scope. 
• Track submittal approval status and follow up with consultants on outstanding items. 
• Site Supervision 
• Supervise ELV installation on site; ensure compliance with specifications and safety requirements. 
• Inspect first-fix and second-fix ELV works and close out quality observations. 
• Testing & Commissioning 
• Coordinate ELV T&C activities; liaise with client's IT and security teams. 
• Prepare T&C protocols and punch list close-out documentation. 
• Authority Compliance 
• Ensure ELV systems comply with TRA, Civil Defence, and client requirements. 
• Prepare and submit authority approval packages and respond to authority comments. 
• Innovation & Value Creation 
• Introduce modern tools, technologies and processes that improve efficiency and transparency. 
• Encourage innovative thinking to enhance outcomes and reduce costs without compromising quality. 

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering 

• Minimum 4–6 years of ELV engineering experience in MEP construction 

• Knowledge of UAE ELV regulatory requirements 

• Good coordination, documentation, and communication skills
