Job Description

The Electronics Technician is responsible for troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining electronic equipment. They should have a strong understanding of electronics and the ability to interpret technical schematics. The Electronics Technician must also possess excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.


Responsibilities

  • Troubleshoot and diagnose electronic equipment issues.
  • Repair or replace faulty components in electronic equipment.
  • Conduct routine maintenance to ensure equipment functionality.
  • Test electronic circuits using various tools and equipment.
  • Interpret and understand technical schematics and diagrams.
  • Collaborate with engineers and other technicians to resolve complex issues.
  • Keep detailed records of repairs, maintenance, and testing.
  • Stay updated on the latest industry advancements in electronics.
  • Assist with equipment installation and configuration.
  • Adhere to safety guidelines and protocols.

  • Associate's degree in Electronics or a related field.
  • Proven experience as an Electronics Technician or a similar role.
  • Strong knowledge of electronic circuits and components.
  • Proficiency in using electronic testing equipment.
  • Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
