Electrician

The Hotel Electrical and General Technician is responsible for the operation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems and general engineering services within the hotel to ensure safe, efficient, and uninterrupted operations. Duties include routine inspection, troubleshooting, and maintenance of electrical panels, lighting systems, power outlets, HVAC controls, and guest room electrical fixtures. The role also covers basic plumbing, carpentry, and mechanical repairs as required.

The technician attends breakdowns and guest complaints promptly, carries out preventive maintenance as per schedule, ensures compliance with safety, fire, and energy regulations, and maintains accurate maintenance records. Coordination with other departments, especially Housekeeping and Front Office, is essential to minimize guest inconvenience. The role requires flexibility in shifts, adherence to hotel standards, and compliance with health, safety, and statutory regulations at all times.
