We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Electrician to join our team and manage the electrical systems of various installations and structures. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of electrical systems and be able to work independently or as part of a team to ensure that all electrical aspects of facilities are functioning optimally. This role involves installing, troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining electrical systems as well as ensuring compliance with all safety codes and regulations. Our Electrician will be crucial in ensuring the safety and efficiency of electrical systems, contributing to a safe and productive environment for all staff and visitors.

Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, and repair electrical control, wiring, and lighting systems.
• Inspect transformers and circuit breakers to ensure they meet safety standards.
• Identify electrical problems using a variety of testing devices and tools.
• Follow the guidelines and protocols to maintain safe electrical systems.
• Conduct routine maintenance on electrical systems to prevent possible hazards.
• Ensure compliance with all state and local building regulations and codes.
• Support the installation of electrical systems and components in new constructions.
• Maintain records and documentation for all maintenance, inspections, and repairs.
• Collaborate with contractors and other construction professionals as required.
• Provide guidance and mentorship to apprentice electricians and new joiners.
• Troubleshoot electrical issues and perform quality checks on completed work.
• Perform risk assessment and ensure the highest safety standards are met.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent plus a recognized electrical certification.
• Proven experience working as an electrician in a professional setting.
• Excellent mechanical skills with a strong understanding of electrical systems.
• Full comprehension of electrical codes and safety standards in the industry.
• Ability to use electrical tools and testing devices effectively and safely.
• Strong problem-solving skills assist in diagnosing and resolving issues.
• Able to work independently or with minimal supervision on complex tasks.
• Good physical condition and strength with no fear of heights or confined spaces.
• Positive attitude with good communication skills and teamwork capability.
