Job Description

  • Support the design of structured cabling, ICT infrastructure, wireless networks, IP telephony, IPTV, digital signage and background music systems.
  • Assist with the design of CCTV, access control, intruder detection, intercom and security control rooms.
  • Prepare drawings, schematics, equipment schedules, room data sheets and bills of quantities using AutoCAD or Revit.
  • Help write basis of design reports, technical specifications and design narratives.
  • Coordinate space, power, cooling and containment requirements with architecture, MEP, fire and interior design teams.
  • Review contractor submittals and support site visits, testing and commissioning.
  • Track comments and actions in registers and help prepare responses to client and authority reviews.
  • Learn about authority and regulatory requirements (HCIS, SAIS, CST, NCA, Saudi Building Code) with support from senior team members.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Electronics, Telecommunications, Computer or a related engineering discipline.
  • 0 to 2 years of experience. Internships or project experience in building services, ICT or security are an advantage.
  • Basic understanding of IP networking, structured cabling and electronic security or AV systems.
  • Working knowledge of AutoCAD or Revit and MS Office. BIM experience is an advantage.
  • Good written and verbal communication, with attention to detail.
