Responsibilities

• Perform routine inspections and preventative maintenance on electrical systems and equipment.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical issues in a timely and efficient manner.
• Repair or replace faulty electrical components to restore system functionality.
• Collaborate with the engineering team to develop maintenance strategies and protocols.
• Ensure all electrical work complies with industry safety standards and regulations.
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, repairs, and replacements.
• Assist in the installation of new electrical systems and equipment as required.
• Monitor and report any potential safety hazards or inventory shortages.
• Provide technical support and guidance to junior technicians and apprentices.
• Stay updated on the latest advancements and technologies in electrical maintenance.
• Respond to emergency maintenance requests and provide efficient solutions.
• Coordinate with other maintenance personnel to ensure minimal disruption of operations.

Requirements

• Proven experience as an Electrical Maintenance Technician or similar role.
• Strong knowledge of electrical systems, tools, and equipment maintenance.
• Ability to read and interpret technical diagrams, schematics, and manuals.
• Familiarity with industry safety standards and electrical codes is essential.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail in repair work.
• Effective communication skills to liaise with team members and management.
• Vocational training or certification in electrical technology or related field preferred.
